LEFT HANDED GIANT (UK)
Bristol has become somewhat of a whopper beer city not least thanks to the groundwork laid and continued success of Left Handed Giant there. From the crew that brought you the legendary Small Bar right in the city centre, LHG grew from their pilot kit in the pub to being one of the explorative and downright best breweries in the UK – no small feat given the quality of the beer scene there of late.
We first met Jack and Bruce last year and our shared love of shoehorns, balaclavas and even beer meant it was love at first sight. We’ve been taken aback by how great their barrel aged stuff is in compliment to their redicliously tasty hoppy can offerings too and when the guys asked us over to Bristol to put together ‘There There’ - our Rye IPA collaboration – we jumped at the opportunity.
Having been putting out world class beers along with some of the best can art on the globe, the Left Handed Giant crew never stop and have just opened their beautiful and ambitious waterside brewpub in Bristol city centre with the help of so many beer consumers through their massive crowfunding drive last year.
It can be hard to get your hands on LHG beers abroad given the demand in the UK for this nectar so make sure you fill your boots with beers from this crew at their first ever Irish appearance at Fidelity.
